Kayla and JD are high school sweethearts who got engaged in the Dominican Republic on a sunset beach walk ( nice job JD). From the moment I met them at their engagement session they were laughing and joking around, which meant I knew they were going to be amazing to get to know.

Their wedding day proved that was true even more! From their getting ready, to singing in the party bus, to dancing the night away (they got moves y’all!), these two are just outright fun.

The Oxbow Country Club was nothing short of an outstanding venue. Literally stunning! The ceremony was out on the perfect golf course lawn and the weather was near perfect. Of course, not as perfect as these two.

You can tell a lot about a couple from the speeches and the way their friends talked about them solidified what I had already been thinking, they are truly best friends and are going to do wonderful things together! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Kappes.
