Now these two have had a wedding to remember (two weddings actually!). The pandemic has caused so much chaos in the wedding industry and for people planning weddings. Kyla and Austin made the absolute best of the pandemic situation. With their fun, joking, and loving spirits, I didn’t expect anything less from them!
For their original wedding date in May, there were restrictions on venues so they were only able to have their closest friends and family at an intimate wedding ceremony. Then, a month later they had a full on second wedding celebration with all of their guests. This meant two weddings, can you imagine all that planning?! She did get to have two wedding dresses so that was pretty awesome.
Their wedding will hold a special place in my heart for another reason. Kyla unexpectedly lost her father not to long before the wedding. He has always been there for her and been her biggest supporter. Not only did it rock her and her family’s world, but the loss was a huge part of their wedding day. Everyone was in tears with memories of her father everywhere, her walking down the isle, and what was supposed to be the father/daughter dance. Kyla had an outstanding support system and had so many important men in her life dance with her.
I can’t gush enough about these two and how their lives are surrounded with such amazing, supportive people. It really took all hands on deck to make two awesome wedding days possible. Their willingness to adapt, always positive attitudes, and love for everyone was so inspiring. I’m truly honored to have been there and support these two amazing people who I will always consider friends. So so so many congrats!!
